Susan Knernschield is a seasoned financial leader and co-founder of Go Bird Go™, bringing decades of experience in business ownership, senior management, and government contracting. 

At Go Bird Go™, she directs finance, budgets, and operations with the strategic foresight that ensures the company grows with confidence and accountability.

Susan has successfully owned and operated a major contracting business and built a career in advanced leadership, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance. 

With deep expertise in state codes and federal contracts, she has developed strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to navigate complex environments.

At Go Bird Go™, Susan not only oversees financials but also manages human resources, operational structures, and insurance coverage — including extended protection plans for customers.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is a devoted mother of three and grandmother whose family inspires her values of integrity, compassion, and resilience. 

A lifelong animal lover, her first German Shepherd, Adam, sparked a passion that continues to this day. Susan’s dedication to people, animals, and success makes her both an exceptional CFO and a co-founder who embodies the spirit of Go Bird Go™.

Chris Haines is an experienced leader with a career foundation in law enforcement, GPS technology, and advanced 4G/5G tracking systems. 

At Go Bird Go™, he directs logistics and asset protection — ensuring every feeder is tracked, tested, and delivered with integrity from the factory floor to the customer’s hands.

Chris built his career in law enforcement, where he gained deep expertise in GPS and asset tracking. Over time, he expanded into roles that involved business leadership, professional training, and the use of sensitive cellular systems — knowledge he now applies directly to Go Bird Go’s assembly and diagnostic testing line. 

His previous background in aviation further sharpened his technical aptitude, giving him an edge in quality control and troubleshooting.

Today, Chris manages the entire logistics process for Go Bird Go™, overseeing OEM shipments, warehouse operations, and final delivery to customers. 

As Chris notes: “When you’re dealing with thousands of units, you must ensure every product arrives safely, assembled, tested, and ready for the individuals who paid for it.”

Known for his integrity and dedication, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge in asset management and a proven commitment to customer service. 

A devoted father of three, he draws inspiration from his family every day, bringing values of teamwork and reliability to the Go Bird Go™ leadership team.

Brian is a tremendous asset to Go Bird Go™. As Warehouse Operations Manager, he oversees warehouse safety, inbound and outbound package flow, shipping operations, and serves as a second liaison to customs for international shipments.

 
He works closely with the Director of Logistics to coordinate shipments and distribution, and with the Asset Manager to track inventory and safeguard company resources.

By trade, Brian is a licensed and certified heavy equipment operator, experienced lead foreman, and proven crew manager across multiple job sites. This background gives him the discipline, technical know-how, and leadership skills that keep our warehouse running at peak performance.

On top of that, his multilingual ability makes him the perfect bridge to our partners in Peru, Mexico, and other Spanish-speaking countries — ensuring smooth communication and efficient handling of international shipping and customs. 

With a majority of our hummingbird feeders launching initially in these regions, Brian’s leadership, professionalism, and global mindset make him an invaluable part of the Go Bird Go™ team.

Jose Torres brings exceptional leadership to Go Bird Go™, shaped by his distinguished service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Kansas Army National Guard, where he led thousands of men and women in service to our country. 

Today, he directs business development and regional distribution across the western states, building and maintaining B2B relationships with excellence.A native of California with strong family roots in Kansas, Jose combines deep ties to both regions with a unique understanding of the markets he now serves. 

Having lived many years in Kansas, he continues to honor those connections while residing in California — a place renowned for hummingbirds, monarch butterfly migration, and diverse wildlife that align with Go Bird Go’s mission.

Jose’s career is marked by leadership, discipline, and commitment, from his military service to his role in operations and business development.
